Mark Infantado founded Temperature By Design in 1995.  A one man show for the first few years, Mark ran his company with simply a shop in his garage and an office in his living room.  Fabricating and installing ductwork, as well as performing service calls for heating and air conditioning systems, Mark secured work by cold calling, utilizing his contacts, and by placing small ads in local papers. 

As Temperature by Design grew, Mark hired his first employees in 1998 setting up shop in a 1,500 square foot facility in Riverton, NJ.  He began to concentrate on the commercial side of the business, which enabled him to grow the business at a faster rate.
 
In 2000, Temperature by Design moved to its current location in a 5,000 square foot facility in Pennsauken, NJ.  The additional space was used to house the shop and shop equipment.   The additional equipment, space and employees enabled the company take on more work and the company's annual revenues soon exceeded $1M.

In 2006, Temperature by Design became a Limited Liability Company.  The company expanded the current shop another 5,000 square feet in 2008.  Additional shop equipment was purchased and again, the company experienced growth opening the door for more challenging projects.
 
For the first time in history, the company's sales exceeded $3M in 2008.  To help ensure the continuation of the company's profitable growth, Mark installed key employees in both operational and financial management roles.  Since then the company's profit margins have grown with a net income of approximately 10% to 12% of revenue.
